Aliso Viejo's first independent Chamber of Commerce was founded on August 22, 2012 when the first Board of Directors was elected and installed. We officially launched the chamber with our Kick-Off Gala on September 29, 2012 at Soka Performing Arts Center, and we held our first official breakfast meeting on October 17, 2012 at Aliso Viejo Country Club. Now our work begins!
The mission of Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce is to "encourage economic prosperity within the community and be an effective bridge between its businesses and the city" – and we hope that you will feel welcome to join us as we work together to promote and serve the community of Aliso Viejo. Overview: The Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce is an organization that bridges all of the elements of the city by offering connection, support, development, education and communication. This is the organization that ties together the City of Aliso Viejo, large employers, small businesses, professionals and all elements of our thriving community.
City Government: The chamber provides support for business development through an accurate business directory with goods and services offered by category, networking and connectivity for all members, promotion through the website and social media and marketing "Do Business in Aliso Viejo" both within and outside the city through all available channels. The chamber offers support to major city events and helps build awareness, attendance and excitement for these events. The Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce also links with the City of Aliso Viejo website and supports economic development efforts by actively working for business retention. The chamber regularly communicates with the city on business-friendly efforts and initiatives and review of regulations.
Large Companies: The Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce provides a vehicle for good corporate citizenship. Large companies may promote their presence and involvement in the community and energize and connect their employees to the community and the various causes and events meant to bring us together. Top Tier membership brings recognition and promotion by the chamber and directly connects businesses to all the major events in the city. Promotion outside the city enhances company's presence in our city and invites others to locate here.
