Despite a year-and-a-half spent working alone in our homes, many of us have found new ways to connect. In a time where we’ve seen so many businesses struggle to remain open, it’s even more important to cultivate community relationships with other local businesses.
To create these bonds in Aliso Viejo, Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce members have continued to meet virtually for their monthly networking event. Our members protect and promote the local business community, with a primary goal to help one another succeed.
Why should you network?
Networking is an excellent opportunity for you to expand your network, increase your visibility in the community and establish authority for your business. We recommend you go to at least one networking event per month. Getting out in front of people will help you get to know the other business owners in the area, share and learn valuable information and establish mutually-beneficial relationships.
Where should you network?
Before the pandemic, the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce hosted multiple networking events per month, shown on our events calendar. While we have scaled back for the safety of our members, we continue to meet virtually at least once a month to share resources and stay connected. There are many benefits to joining your local Chamber of Commerce. These organizations are an invaluable tool for businesses that offer many opportunities that go far beyond just networking with other entrepreneurs.
When is the next Networking event?
The Aliso Viejo Chamber Networking Breakfast will be held via Zoom on August 10th at 8:00 am – 9:00 am. Everyone will have a chance to introduce themselves and give us their short commercial, request for the group, or just a short message, perhaps a tip for dealing with this difficult time.
