With great pride and appreciation, we happily announce the Moulton Niguel Water District (MNWD) as our outstanding Member of the Month for August. Moulton Niguel Water District delivers high-quality drinking water, recycled water and wastewater services to more than 170,000 customers in Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, Dana Point, and San Juan Capistrano. A leader in conservation and environmental protection, Moulton Niguel maintains the lowest average water bill in South Orange County.
Amidst the challenges of unpredictable weather and fluctuating water supplies, MNWD has consistently delivered reliable water services while also offering valuable guidance on how to use water wisely. MNWD often reminds us that it’s not about using less water but about wasting less water.
Resilient Together
Over the years, Moulton Niguel Water District has worked hand-in-hand with customers to enhance water efficiency and build resilience. Thanks to their innovative programs and ongoing investments, the District is well-prepared to deliver safe, reliable water and water services during tough times. Their commitment to providing dependable water service remains strong, regardless of the challenges faced.
We’re In This Together
Moulton Niguel is doing its part to help customers save water. In recent years, they’ve upgraded to smart meters that identify water leaks, expanded money-saving rebate programs that replace inefficient water devices, and organized one of the most successful turf replacement programs in California.
In partnership with customers through their turf removal programs, they’ve conserved more than 300 million gallons of water each year, making a significant impact both locally and statewide.
MNWD also plays a vital role in our chamber through active participation and support of our public events. We extend our sincere gratitude for their ongoing commitment and support.
