The Chamber’s September Networking Breakfast kicks off next week, where the Soka Performing Arts Center will be unveiling their highly anticipated 2023-2024 season of performances!
Dubbed one of the “cultural jewels of Orange County,” the center has hosted more than 700 performances since its establishment on May 27, 2011. Situated on the scenic hilltop campus of Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo, the facility boasts a 1,032-seat Concert Hall, world-class acoustics, and a 350-seat Black Box Theatre for intimate performances.
It’s also the home of the Pacific Symphony Chamber Orchestra, with their “Sundays @ Soka Series” with Pacific Symphony proving to be one of their most popular series each year.
Impressively, the Concert Hall was designed by master acoustician Yasuhisa Toyota – who also designed the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Along with large-scale orchestra performances, the Soka Performing Arts Center has expanded their programs to include the Children’s Concert Series and the Blues Festival. It’s also home to the only Great Pianists Series on the West Coast.
For orchestra lovers, this is your chance to get a sneak peek into the center’s planned performances in the coming months. Register on the Chamber website today to claim your seat, and if you’re bringing a guest, be sure to indicate it in your registration. We’re thrilled to see you there!
