AVCC: How would you describe Urban Plates to someone who has never eaten there before?
UP: Urban Plates provides our guests with high-quality real meals made from scratch that are familiar but have a progressive tilt. We also offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options to help meet dietary restrictions.
AVCC: What is the mission of Urban Plates?
UP: Our purpose is to change the way the world eats by connecting real people and real food with memorable experiences, and by giving people control over how they feed themselves and the people they care about.
AVCC: How does Urban Plates differ from other eateries in the Aliso Viejo area?
UP: Our menu is chef-driven. We are organic and environmentally friendly.
AVCC: What has been Urban Plates’ greatest success as a business thus far?
UP: Our growth. We currently operate 17 restaurants in California and the East Coast, and we’re growing.
AVCC: What does your organization value in the Aliso Viejo community?
UP: Aliso Viejo is a very diverse family-friendly environment with a modern feel.
AVCC: What do you like about being a member of the Chamber?
UP: It is a great opportunity for networking and fellowship.
AVCC: How has being a member of the Chamber helped your business?
UP: It has increased our exposure in the business community.
