Resources Available Amid Another Round Of Closures

This week, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a new round of measures aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19. Orange County is one of 30 across the state that’s been mandated to once again close shopping malls, gyms, indoor church worship, bars and nail salons.

According to Governor Newsom, the closure will impact 80 percent of Californians. “This continues to be a disease that puts people in our ICUs and our hospitals, and is currently putting a strain on our hospital system.”

The City of Aliso Viejo released a statement saying, “We understand that some of these measures may be an inconvenience to our residents, and we thank you for your understanding during this time. The health and safety of our residents is our first priority, and the City will continue to communicate the latest information and details as they emerge.”

During these uncertain times, the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce remains committed to supporting our Chamber Members and local businesses in any way we can. Our mission is to encourage economic prosperity within the community and be an effective bridge between its businesses and the City. Please visit our COVID-19 Resources page as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times.

The Chamber will also continue holding our Networking Breakfast and After Hours meetings virtually. If you’re interested in attending future events, the information is posted on the Aliso Viejo Chamber calendar. Meeting instructions, Zoom links, and passwords are attached. Our next event is scheduled for July 22nd at 6:00 pm, and anyone is welcome to attend!
