Member of the Month: Which Wich

We are rounding out 2019 and entering 2020 with a delicious member of the month!  Each month, the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce highlights an exceptional Chamber member organization. Our December Member of the Month  is Which Wich, home of the superior sandwich.

While you may know about their incredible selection of sandwiches, Which WIch is also a key contributor in our community.  We asked owner Dave Fleming a few questions about his location which had a popular presence in the Aliso Viejo Town Center.

AVCC: When did Which Wich arrive in the Aliso Viejo Town Center, and how has the experience been?

Which Wich Aliso Viejo: The store has been open since 2013. We purchased this outstanding location, and we took over the store in March of 2018.  Our customers love Which Wich. The Lowe’s closure in 2018 has impacted many of the food establishments in terms of customer flow, but we are optimistic that the Lowe’s space will bring something exciting in 2020 and with it new people to the area. We have expanded our involvement with youth sports clubs, organizations, schools, and even some many of the surrounding businesses to encourage using our delicious and outstanding catering services.

AVCC:What do you enjoy about the Aliso Viejo Community?

Which Wich Aliso Viejo: I have been a homeowner in Aliso Viejo since 2001, when the city was first founded.  I love the mix of amazing weather and many leisure time options.  Soka University’s performing arts center performances and the trails of the Wilderness Park for cycling and hiking are just a couple examples.

AVCC: How does Which Wich engage with the Aliso Viejo Community?

15th anniversary day of Which Wich’s founding.

Which Wich Aliso Viejo: Which Wich has been continuously active with numerous charity events for Aliso Viejo schools and businesses, including sponsorship of the Aliso Niguel High School Wolverines football team, participation in the Pacific Life annual food charity event, the St. Mary’s Golf Classic charity, the annual Oak Grove Elementary All-Star Bash Fundraiser, and the Lomarena Elementary School’s Spring Gala and Silent Auction, to name a few.  We really enjoy being involved with the community.

AVCC: When did you join the AV Chamber?

Which Wich Aliso Viejo: Which Wich joined the Chamber in the 1st quarter of 2019, and I am proud to have recently joined the Chamber Board of Directors.  I look forward to applying my time and talents to help grow the Chamber and support the growth of businesses in our wonderful community.

AVCC: How has being a member of the Chamber helped Which Wich?

The Chamber has brought Which Wich into contact with business leaders and owners who have supported our cause.  The Chamber ribbon-cutting, held shortly after joining, was a fun event and introduced our business to numerous local, county, state and federal officials.  We have since had the opportunity to cater other Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce businesses’ events. Attendance at the monthly breakfast meetings have introduced me to many mutually beneficial business contacts.
