You’ve probably seen Hillary Millard-Briggs driving around Aliso Viejo in her pink Cadillac, but if you haven’t had the opportunity to meet her in person, you’re missing out on her smile that shines just as bright as her car. This Mary Kay Sales Director not only helps locals feel beautiful but also dedicates much of her time giving back to our community; that’s why Hillary Millard-Briggs is our Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce Member of the Month.
AVCC: What is it like to be a Mary Kay representative?
Hillary Millard-Briggs: I love empowering people through skin care and makeup that makes them feel beautiful. My customer consultations are free and come with no obligation; it’s a great way to help them with their beauty needs.
I also enjoy helping women achieve their dream of being their own boss and running a home-based business. It’s my honor to be with a company that puts God first, family second, and career third.
AVCC: What has your experience been like working in Aliso Viejo?
Hillary Millard-Briggs: I have gained wonderful lifelong friends by working with members of our community and the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce. I even had three chamber members at my wedding.
I also love it when people see my pink Cadillac and honk!
AVCC: What do you enjoy most about the Aliso Viejo community?
Hillary Millard-Briggs: I have really enjoyed my experiences welcoming new business to our community as the Aliso Viejo ribbon cutting chair. It’s such a special day when our Mayor, City Council, and chamber members come together to help cut the big red ribbon. The Aliso Viejo Town Center is one of my favorite places to spend my free time.
AVCC: How is your business involved with the community?
Hillary Millard-Briggs: I teach free classes about how to look “Zabulous” on Zoom. I review everything from lighting and angles to makeup tips.
I also make sure to support local businesses, especially those in our chamber. My dentist is Dr. Preda at Aliso Viejo Dental. I dine at Urban Plates, Urban Café, SGT. Pepperoni’s and Which Wich. My favorite hair salon is Henry J Madyson Salon in The Row.
My family donates turkeys to Heidi Stoops every year, who then donates them to the troops. I also gift beautiful Mary Kay baskets to local charities.
AVCC: How has the AV Chamber helped your business?
Hillary Millard-Briggs: I have gained new customers over the past seven years through my work with the Chamber. The connections I’ve made have helped me earn four Mary Kay cars and my first Pink Cadillac!
