September is quickly coming to an end, and we feel like this month flew by! Summer has officially ended, and Fall is here! Before you know it, October will have arrived, and we’ll all be focused on making our costumes and carving pumpkins. For now, here are some events coming up here in Aliso Viejo these last couple weeks of September.
MEGA Yard Sale – Fundraiser for Aliso Niguel High School Theatre Company

The Aliso Niguel Theatre Company at Aliso Niguel High School is hosting a giant yard sale on Saturday, September 23, 2017, from 7:30 am-Noon. They will have hundreds of donated items at this sale! Don’t miss out! There could be lots of great items here for the person who loves antiquing.
Cool Modern West Coast Jazz with The Phil Norman Tentet

Soka Performing Arts Center
Come listen to this modern jazz ensemble at the Soka Performing Arts Center! The Phil Norman Tentet will play a combination of standards and original tunes, with each member soloing. The Phil Norman Tentet has been playing together for 15 years! Their music is influenced by such predecessors as the Birth of the Cool bands while exploring new ideas via the contributions of gifted arrangers and composers Bob Florence, Dave Pell, Allen Broadbent, Roger Neumann, and Kim Richmond, among others.
The Phil Norman Tentet will play a combination of standards and original tunes, with each member soloing. Tickets are $30 or $26 Student and Seniors (62+)

Parent & Me Mixed-Media Art Class

Iglesia Park Community Center
Spend some quality time with the little ones at the city’s new Parent & Me Mixed-Media Art class kicks off Monday, September 25. Your kiddos will get to show their artistic sides while they play and experiment with mixed media including paints, canvas, and clay! The class will be led by instructor Lisa Albert, and the first session of this creative class takes place from 9-10 a.m. every Monday through October 16! Get your creative side on and spend some fun time with family.
