Ice Cream for Breakfast? Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce Celebrates with Sub Zero at Networking Breakfast.

Every second Tuesday of the new month, the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce members gather together for their monthly Networking Breakfast hosted at the scenic Aliso Viejo Country Club.

This month, business owners welcomed new members, Mr. Garrett Dwyer of Citibank in Aliso Viejo (who, it turns out, is actually a returning member!), as well as Mr. Robert West of Sub Zero Ice Cream.

Mr. Dwyer opened his returning Networking Breakfast debut with a quote in honor of this upcoming Mother’s Day, and Mr. West introduced Sub Zero’s

Founded in 2004 by chemist Jerry Hancock, Sub Zero is a unique Liquid Nitrogen Ice Creamery that has quickly risen in national popularity over the years. Having been featured on world-famous shows such as Shark Tank, Sub Zero has a reputation as a household name for their delicious scientific demonstrations at elementary and middle schools where they teach children of all ages the wonder of science. Of course, they also provide a sample of their flavorful ice cream.

Mr. West was kind enough to give a similar demonstration to the Chamber of Commerce members, treating the business owners of Aliso Viejo to flavors such as mint-chocolate, caramel, mocha, and huckleberry. A bowl was also filled with liquid nitrogen and passed around for Chamber members to briefly dip their fingertips into to see how cold the chemicals were – all while safely being monitored by the liquid nitrogen experts from Sub Zero.

Located in Laguna Niguel on Paz, Sub Zero boasts over 40 flavors of this dense ice cream and can accommodate all forms of dairy allergies by making ice cream with coconut milk, cashew milk, and even almond milk.

After the demonstration and ice cream tasting, members then gathered for the monthly “Opportunity Drawing.” This monthly raffle and giveaway provide the business owners of Aliso Viejo a chance to showcase their great services/products and help promote each other.

Acting Chamber president, Heidi Stoops, donated a bottle of sangria, while Hillary Millard of Mary K. Cosmetics raffled off a wine bottle sleeve – a great matching set!
