How The AVCC Supports Local Business

It’s been a trying year for people across the globe as a worldwide pandemic took hold of our lives and made us all slow down. Despite the devastation and frustration, people found ways to come together and support one another from checking on their neighbors to supporting their local businesses. The Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce knows the importance of lifting up our neighbors and their businesses in times like these. Here are a few ways the AVCC has helped some of our 2020 Aliso Viejo Chamber Members of the Month.

AVCC: How has being a member of the Chamber helped your business?

Vollebregt Law: As a business owner, being part of the Chamber helps me stay current on the issues that my clients and others in our community are facing. It has been a great clearinghouse for information during the COVID-19 pandemic and other challenges facing Aliso Viejo and our region. The Chamber brings together many important stakeholders in our community, including our faith communities, schools, and other service organizations. It’s a great way to stay in touch with public officials who care about the area’s business climate.

Aliso Creek Printing: It has helped me solidify my relation with the clients which we already have in the city. It has opened new doors to new firms for us to increase our business and has given us a chance to attend many networking events to promote our graphic design and printing business.

Mary Kay’s Hillary Millard-Briggs: I have gained new customers over the past seven years through my work with the Chamber. The connections I’ve made have helped me earn four Mary Kay cars and my first Pink Cadillac!

WinStor, Inc: Getting to know our community business members on a personal level for either referrals or support is what makes the Chamber a valuable alliance and business partner.

SoCalGas: The Chamber has been a great supporter of SoCalGas. We have relied on the Chamber to assist in distributing information to the local community.  We are appreciative and proud to call the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce, one of our partners.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley’s Aliso Viejo location: Over the years, the Chamber has helped with our Operation Holiday Homework event by collecting gifts and volunteering at the event. They have also supported the City’s golf tournament, which supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley.

Capstone Federal Credit Union: We continue to talk to local businesses about joining Capstone FCU to give their employees access to better banking.  What we want is to help Aliso Viejo grow, Capstone FCU to grow, and we believe we can do this together.  Supporting local businesses and being here is key.

Seven Seas Roasting Co: The Chamber has been an incredible resource in helping us establish a network in the community. The whole team sincerely appreciated the way the Mayor and the Chamber rolled out the red carpet by organizing a ribbon-cutting for our grand opening ceremony.
