Despite the sunny weather and lack of snow in Aliso Viejo this time of year, there are plenty of festive events that bring the holiday cheer. With December knocking at our doorstep, the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce has rounded up a few of the upcoming holiday events happening in the community.
Aliso Viejo Community Association Presents Sunday with Santa

The Aliso Viejo Community Association will be hosting its Sunday with Santa event on Sunday, December 1st. This event is open to Aliso Viejo Community Association members and will include family photo opportunities with Santa, carolers, hot cocoa, cookies and children’s crafts.

The Soka Performing Arts Center will be ushering in the spirit of the holidays with a family-friendly holiday show featuring uilleann piper Eric Rigler and acoustic guitarist Dirk Freymuth. Rigler has been touted as the “World’s Most Recorded Piper” with his sounds being heard on the “Outlander” TV series, the Braveheart and Titanic soundtracks, and as the famous piper who performed “Amazing Grace” at President Ronald Reagan’s funeral. At this don’t-miss holiday event, Rigler and Freymuth team up to enchant event-goers to a mixture of traditional Celtic music, themes from Rigler’s film and television soundtracks, and traditional and lesser-known Christmas pieces. Renaissance Sports Club encourages the Aliso Viejo community to come out, enjoy a yummy breakfast, and get a picture with Santa at their Breakfast with Santa event! This family-friendly event is a great way for children to get to meet Santa and it will feature breakfast favorites! Guests are encouraged to “just bring your appetite, camera, and letters for Santa.” This is a festive event with family seating and shared tables.
