This past Tuesday, Mayor Richard Hurt joined the Chamber at Glaukos Corporation for Aliso Viejo’s annual State of the City gathering! The event featured a Ribbon Cutting and Special Certificate Ceremony for Glaukos CEO Tom Burns, before Mayor Hurt gave his State of the City Presentation.
If you haven’t heard of Glaukos, this recent Chamber member is dedicated to pioneering new treatments for chronic eye diseases. They focus on developing innovative therapies that advance the standard of care and improve patient outcomes. Their key areas include therapies for cornea, glaucoma, and retina diseases. They lead the market in ophthalmic clinical support and patient education, and are committed to continuous innovation, investing significantly in research and development to enhance patient care with novel solutions. And now, they’re a part of the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce!
Throughout the event, lunch was provided by several local restaurants and Aliso Viejo Chamber members. Thank you to these members for feeding our attendees as well as our sponsors for this event, including Supervisor Katrina Foley as a Platinum sponsor alongside our Gold members: Moulton Niguel Water District, Southern California Edison, and CR&R. We’re also grateful for the support of our Bronze members, the Toll Roads of Orange County and the Orange County Realtors Association. Lastly, thank you to our Community Sponsors, Capstone Federal Credit Union, and Crumbl Cookies, for their event support.
Stay tuned for our next Chamber event – the October After Hours Mixer – which will be held at Lupe’s Mexican Eatery on October 25, 2023. Register online, and remember to let us know if you’re bringing along a guest!
