Are you ready to spring forward? Daylight Saving Time is upon us, providing you more daylight – which means more things to do! And living in Aliso Viejo means you can take advantage of the great weather outside even later than you’re used to!
So here are our favorite activities you can enjoy outside after Daylight Saving Time:
Join our Private Country Club!
More daytime hours means more tee times for Aliso Viejo’s avid golfers. The private Aliso Viejo Country Club has a wide variety of appealing elements for members.
There are three levels of membership:
Golf: This is the full membership providing golf, fitness, and social.
Fitness: This is for people who want an upscale workout experience, but perhaps are not golfers.
Social: Social members enjoy the club to entertain guests for business or casual reasons, and for networking.
Take up gardening!
Nothing gets you outside and using your hands better than gardening. Not only does it nourish your skin with exposure to natural vitamin D, but it helps your hand-eye coordination, boosts your mood, and helps improve your memory.
Our friends over at BrightView Landscape Service recommend that beginners start with easy to grow and care-for flowers such as sunflowers, roses, petunias, or black-eyed Susans.
Enjoy the beach and take in some art!
Wander down to iconic Laguna Beach for some surf and sand and then take a tour of all of the pieces in the Las Laguna Gallery! The gallery is located outdoors, so you can still smell the scent of the sea while taking in a collection of both contemporary and classic art from local and international artists alike!
Aliso Viejo has so much to enjoy! With early-perpetually perfect weather and an array of services and activities offered locally, Aliso is the ideal place to enjoy the outdoors. And with the time change coming up on March 11th, we’ll all be able to linger in the sunshine even longer!
