Despite the relatively mild temperatures in Orange County so far, summer has officially arrived. Whether it’s an evening bonfire or an afternoon picnic with the family, it’s the season many of us spend more time outdoors. If you’re looking for a quick snack to keep you satisfied as you head out on your next adventure, here are a few Aliso Viejo hotspots that offer a wide variety of tasty treats.
Urban Plates
Right off the Toll Roads exit in the Aliso Viejo Town Center you can find Urban Plates, a regional franchise offering the best made-from-scratch meals daily. On top of their tasty meals, they offer a handful of exceptional drinks that are sure to cool you down. Grab a blueberry lemonade, cold beer or glass of wine to go with your excursion.
Seven Seas Roasting Co.
Seven Seas Roasting Co. is a veteran-owned specialty coffee roaster that works directly with farmers. In 2017, owner Eris Dobbs set out in search of the best coffees from around the world. Dobbs started his business at a local farmers’ market and in 2019, opened two stores in San Diego and Aliso Viejo. This summer, grab one of their specialty avocado toast selections, a nitro cold brew or refreshing kombucha.
Which Wich
Located in the Aliso Viejo Town Center, Which Wich has been serving up subs to the community since 2013. Not only do they offer a wide variety of sandwiches, they’ve also offered a ton of support to local organizations over the years. Which Wich has been active with numerous charity events for Aliso Viejo schools and businesses, including sponsorship of the Aliso Niguel High School Wolverines football team and the St. Mary’s Golf Classic charity. Grab one of their Cali Clubs with turkey, bacon and avocado to complete your Southern California picnic this summer.
