If you’ve had the privilege of attending one of our Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce monthly networking breakfasts, you know that we can be a social bunch! We have a wonderful community, and it’s always great gathering with some of the best business owners in our city. If you haven’t attended a breakfast, and you own, operate, or work at a business in Aliso Viejo or the surrounding areas, we encourage you to reach out to us. We added a little more social fun to their April meeting, which featured a presentation from AVCC member Katie Wagner Social Media.
The event kicked off at 7:30 am. Members traditionally bring a “Drawing Gift” for raffles to give to other business owners, as well as help promote their business. This friendly exchange of information, services, and kind words is symbolic of the supportive nature of the Aliso Viejo business community.
On this particular morning, the Networking Breakfast was hosted by Aliso’s Raising Cane’s Manager, Bobbi Frye. Chamber members were treated to a presentation on Storytelling in Social Media for Businesses, delivered by KWSM’s own Stephen Wagner.
Having a background in helping businesses extend their reach through optimized social media, improved web design, and SEO practices, the KWSM team has enjoyed a reputation as a social media ad agency with a flair for great storytelling. Stephen detailed step-by-step what makes a strong and compelling narrative for any business and also fielded questions from all of the Chamber members.
Afterward, we raffled the products and services donated from some of the Aliso Viejo Chamber members. Marque Urgent Care raffled an IV treatment at a $150 value – a method well known for delivering vitamins and intense hydration via intravenous routes. Raising Cane’s donated 2 of their famous Cane Box Combos and Mark Ruttan from Semtrack Inc. threw in a bottle of red wine (which was won by F45’s owner, Phillip Pane).
