A well-known face at Compass Bible Church has become a staple at Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce meetings this year. Brandon Mellor serves as the Director of Communications for the Aliso Viejo based church and has also taken on the role of AVCC Board Member in 2021. 
Brandon told the AV Chamber that he’s most looking forward to utilizing his God-given skills and abilities to assist the Chamber’s efforts to connect and support local businesses. Here are a few more thoughts from our new AVCC Board Member.
AVCC: What should people know about Compass Bible Church?
Brandon Mellor: We are a local Bible-teaching church that offers a wide range of ministries daily including weekend services every Saturday at 5 pm and twice on Sundays at 9am and 11am.
AVCC: What is your history with the AV Chamber?
Brandon Mellor: I’ve been a member of the AVCC for two years, and this is my first time serving on the board.
AVCC: What do you enjoy most about the Aliso Viejo community?
Brandon Mellor: I moved from the East Coast nearly six years ago and had never heard of Aliso Viejo. What I found here is a family-oriented community with a great church, a wide range of businesses and services, terrific parks, and a place that I hope to call home for a long time.
AVCC: How is your business involved with the community?
Brandon Mellor: Compass Bible Church serves the local community by offering Bible-based programming for all ages seven days per week.
AVCC: How has the AV Chamber helped your business?
Brandon Mellor: It’s allowed me the great privilege of forming friendships and networking with other business owners in the community.
