Free Outdoor Activities To Keep You Moving In Aliso Viejo

After another round of business closures ordered by Governor Gavin Newsom in July, the City of Aliso Viejo and local businesses are finding new ways to make use of the great outdoors. “The City has implemented a temporary use permit program to allow greater flexibility in using outdoor spaces, including parking lots or public rights-of-way,” according to Aliso Viejo Mayor Mike Munzing.

The Row at Town Center is one area that’s putting that new permit program to good use. The outdoor space offers dining and a number of workshops and activities to keep families busy during the pandemic. Pre-registration is required as spots are limited in order to follow social distancing guidelines.

Here’s a look at some of the upcoming events at The Row:

August 12th: Braid Bar Tutorial

Learn three new ways to braid and style your hair from a local salon expert. Goodie bags will be provided at the end of the workshop so you can perfect your new skills at home.

August 20th: Line Dancing

This one hour course will go over basic line dance terminology and give you the opportunity to learn some fun and easy dance moves. No experience or partner is necessary!

August 21st: Pinots’ Palette Paint Night

Want to add artistry to your list of quarantine mastery? Enjoy a night of painting before heading to dinner. This course has a $15 fee for supplies.
