As businesses and organizations continue to reopen in the City of Aliso Viejo, there are a number of free events for community members to enjoy. Here’s a look at what’s coming up in the month of October.
Family-Friendly Events
If you haven’t made your way to the Aliso Viejo Town Center lately, you may want to consider checking out one of the many family-friendly activities offered at the outdoor pedestrian-only section, “The Row”.
Kids Fitness:
In October, join The Breakthrough Sports Fitness class every Wednesday at 4 pm for a different curriculum designed to address a full-body workout. Boys and girls of all athletic abilities and ages can learn a new workout routine to help create and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Manners Matter:
On Thursday October 29th, teach your little ones about important life skills in a fun and creative way. At the Manners Matter Workshop, students can learn about proper introductions, empathy, and kindness.
Line Dancing (Age 13+):
This month, you can sign up for one of three line dancing workshops. Each class lasts an hour, so get ready to learn some basic line dance terminology and popular steps. No experience or partner necessary.
You can register HERE for all events.
Free Flu Shots
Make sure to register for your free flu shot beginning October 5th. The City is hosting a drive-thru flu shot clinic on Saturday, November 7th from 9 am-12 pm at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center parking lot. Flu shots are available for residents ages 10+ but only registered participants are eligible.
