July commemorates a great holiday, America’s independence.  But there’s another reason to celebrate in July.  In 1984 Ronald Reagan deemed July the official National Ice Cream Month!

With an entire month dedicated to ice cream – we’ve compiled a list of some great SoCal spots to celebrate!

Cream

26841 Aliso Creek Rd. #B

Aliso Viejo 92656

Cream is known for their ice cream sandwiches.  The first Cream shop was located in Berkley, CA – luckily for us, they’ve opened up shop here in Aliso Viejo.  If you’re into cookies and ice cream, this place is for you!

Sub Zero Ice Cream

27281 La Paz Road Suite Q

Laguna Niguel

This unique ice cream spot flash freezes their ice cream with liquid nitrogen.  They are known for having the creamiest ice cream around.  Don’t take our word for it!  Try it for yourself as they’re just a hop skip and a jump to Laguna Niguel.

Golden Spoon

26741 Aliso Creek Rd c

Aliso Viejo, CA 92656

Golden Spoon’s frozen yogurt is delicious and they have a wide variety of flavors to choose from.  A healthier route than ice cream – you’ll still satisfy your sweet tooth and enjoy a cold treat to cool down from the July heat!

Laguna Hills, CA, 92653
