Introducing the Chamber’s newest Member of the Month: Caroline Swift, owner of Cruise Planners – Sweet Caroline Travel! Although she’s a relatively new member, Caroline’s deep involvement with the surrounding community is reflective of a Chamber veteran.

Caroline, can you describe what Cruise Planners/Sweet Caroline Travel does?
We are a full-service travel agency that represents all cruise lines and land tours, including guided travel, independent travel, and all-inclusive resorts. We primarily specialize in River Cruising and Land Tours, but enjoy planning vacations of all shapes and sizes.

Our primary goal is to offer our clients the best customer service around! We pride ourselves on finding the best cost and vacation by simply listening to our client’s travel needs and wants.
How does Sweet Caroline Travel get involved with the local community?
I’m involved with several local Chambers of Commerce, and serve the community actively in the Lions Club, Rotary Club and the Laguna Niguel Senior Club. City, County and State government ongoings are no stranger to me as I was the Court Administrator at the former “South Court” for 15 years. I was also awarded the Small Business of the Year in Laguna Niguel for my “dedication and commitment to my community.” I’ll also be leading a large group on the Danube River with Viking Cruises this month and hope to plan more group trips down the line.
What do you attribute to winning the Laguna Niguel Small Business of the Year Award?
I’ve always had a passion for travel and a deep dedication to my clients, and do much more than just cruise planning. We also specialize in all-inclusive resorts, independent tours, guided land tours, Amtrak vacations, destination weddings, and river cruises in both individuals and group settings. We believe it’s our passion for travel, superior client service, and extensive range of experiential services that helped us earn the Laguna Niguel Small Business of the Year award!

As a new member to the Aliso Viejo Chamber, I am looking forward to meeting other business owners and finding additional ways to get involved! As a relatively new member who’s been with the Chamber for the past year, I can’t wait to see what Aliso Viejo has in store for us – as well as what Sweet Caroline Travel can do for the broader Aliso community.
