The Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce held their annual ugly sweater holiday breakfast despite the ongoing pandemic. This year, however, things got ugly virtually.
The holiday tradition has become a favorite among members. From Mickey Mouse to Game of Thrones, the sweaters were certainly creative, but ultimately, Hamid and Natalie Chaudhry of Cognito Consulting took home the gold.
Tuesday’s meeting was also bittersweet for AVCC President Jim Sidaris; it was his last meeting before he officially hangs up his hat in January. After two years as the chamber’s president, Jim was given a hearty round of applause for his service. “It’s been a fantastic time,” said Jim.
Despite the uncertainty of the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, the chamber is looking ahead to the new year. At this time, all upcoming events are scheduled to be held virtually but can change based on the recommendations of state leaders and CDC.
