An Evening With Mayor Mike Munzing

Aliso Viejo, City of Aliso Viejo, Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce, Meet the Mayor, Aliso VIejo MayorPeople around town are still talking about last week’s Meet the Mayor event. The event was a huge success! The city of Aliso Viejo welcomed in members of the community and local business owners and operators to meet Mayor Mike Munzing. It was a fabulous way to learn more about each other in a fun and relaxed atmosphere and show our appreciation for all who contribute to this strong, growing community.

The annual event took place at the Aliso Viejo Conference Center and was open to the entire Aliso Viejo community. People had the opportunity to not only meet Mayor Munzing, but also get to know other important community members including our city council, city staff, local businesses, and leaders.

The focus of the evening and perhaps the best part of the night was Mayor Munzing’s heartfelt homage to our city’s unsung heroes. These men and women who work behind the scenes to keep our community healthy, safe, and on the move are the backbone of Aliso Viejo. We would not be the community we are today without their integral contributions.

To every participant who helped make this night a success, we cannot thank you enough.

We’d like to extend a special thanks to Wedgewood at the Aliso Viejo Conference Center for hosting the event and Immediate Past President Dick Fisher for chairing and coordinating the night.

We also had delicious food from several local restaurants including Cosmo’s Italian Kitchen, Jimboy’s Tacos, Pita Pita, Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, and Renaissance Club Sport. It was a night we won’t soon forget, as our appreciation continues to grow for this outstanding community so many of us call home.

Each and every individual plays an important role in our community, and this event gave us the opportunity to vocalize our appreciation. We couldn’t do it without you all!
