With all of the great living Aliso Viejo offers, it’s easy to overlook the fact that Aliso Viejo is also one of California’s safest cities!
Safety consulting firm, SafeWise, announced its list of the Safest Cities in California – and our very own Aliso Viejo placed high on the list. Aliso Viejo occupies one of the top spots of the safest cities in California, alongside Moorpark, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Danville.
This may not come as a surprise to long-time Aliso residents. In recent years, Aliso Viejo has consistently ranked as one of California’s safest cities, improving upon the 5th place spot last year. The city currently has a violent crime rate of 0.5 and property crime clocking in at 7.6.
Aliso Viejo placed as the 4th safest city in California this year, just below Moorpark, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Danville. Yorba Linda followed in 5th place. Here’s SafeWise’s full list of the top 10 safest cities in California:
