The Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce is partnering with organizations and businesses across Orange County for a virtual job fair on Wednesday April 7, 2021 from 10 am – 2 pm. Each participating company will have its own virtual “booth” that you can access from the comfort of your home. The virtual job fair will work much like an in-person event; you’ll have the opportunity to ask hiring managers questions about their open positions, their business culture, and what it’s like working for their company. Participating companies will also be giving short presentations throughout the fair. In order to participate, you must register online.
What Do I Need To Participate?
To take part in the South Orange County Virtual Job Fair, you’ll need a computer with internet access. You do not need a webcam to attend as much of the interactions between employers and participants will take place through text chatting. However, employers do have the ability to ask job seekers to participate in one-on-one video chats. If you have access to a webcam, it’s suggested that you dress professionally and be aware of what’s behind you so you don’t distract potential employers.
If you do not have access to a computer and/or internet, please call our Orange County One-Stop Center at 714-241-4900 to make an appointment for computer and internet use. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.
