Each month, we like to recognize one of our members who has been an outstanding member of the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce and is adding to the Aliso Viejo community. This month, we are excited to announce that UST Global’s VP of Global HR Operations, Michael Adamson, has been selected as the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce Member of the Month!
We wanted to recognize his achievement by sharing his personal journey to success with all of you. Below is our interview with Michael, which covers his work, his greatest successes, and his experience as a part of the Aliso Viejo community and Chamber of Commerce.
AVCC: Tell us about yourself and your business.
Michael: My name is Michael Adamson, and I am the Vice President of Global HR Operations for UST Global. UST Global is a leading digital technology services company, headquartered in Aliso Viejo. The organization has 20,000 employees and operates in 25+ countries! My role focuses on building talent for the needs of our company today and tomorrow.
AVCC: What is your biggest success in business?
Michael: I am proud of many things. Our mission is Transforming Lives. I was part of a team that launched our Step IT Up America program. This program focuses on providing training and career opportunities for women and veterans in the field of technology. Given that there are over 600,000 IT jobs in our country that need to be filled, empowering underrepresented female and veterans in this field is crucial. Seeing firsthand how this program has transformed people’s lives is very rewarding. It has been a great experience!
AVCC: Tell us about your business’ experience in Aliso Viejo.
Michael: Aliso Viejo is a great place for our associates to live and work. We are able to attract strong digital and technology talent that will enable us to continue to create innovative solutions for our clients.
AVCC: What do you like about being a member of the Chamber?
Michael: After joining the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce, I feel a much stronger bond to the community, and I have made some good friendships and business connections.
AVCC: How has being a member of the Chamber helped your business?
Michael: There are companies of all different shape and sizes across Aliso Viejo and the surrounding area. The Chamber has helped me to connect with other business and community leaders that really care about making a difference and continuing to drive prosperity within Aliso Viejo. When you surround yourself with good, passionate people – great things happen!
