As the weather cools down and we head into the month of October, the fall feeling is blossoming. And if you’re looking to get into the spirit, there’s plenty to do right here in the Aliso Viejo community. Here’s a preview of some family friendly events right here in our own backyard.
When: Sunday, October 10th
Where: Aliso Viejo Ranch
Time: 10:00 am -2:00 pm
The Creative Communal Makers Market at Aliso Viejo Ranch is a great place to kick off the fall festivities. The event will feature local vendors, handmade products, food, face painting, fall photo opportunities, and pumpkin decorating. The event is free to attend, but you’re asked to RSVP on Facebook.
When: Saturday, October 23rd
Time: 10:00 am – 12 pm
Where: Grand Park/Town Center Amphitheater
The Fall Harvest Festival, put on by the Aliso Viejo Community Association (AVCA), will be held at Grand Park. This special event is open to ghosts and goblins of all ages and will feature games, entertainment, a children’s costume parade, community booths and a howling good time for everyone. Be sure to bring your trick-or-treat bag!
Canned Food Drive:
Don’t forget your canned food donations! Donations of five or more items will qualify for a children’s pony ride(wristband).
When: Sunday, October 31st
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: Compass Bible Church
Fall Fest is a decades-old tradition put on by Compass Bible Church in Aliso Viejo. During the last decade, the Fall Fest has become a family favorite during Halloween. Join the Aliso Viejo community on Halloween night for a family-friendly event complete with costumes, rides, and games. Dress up in your favorite costume and join the Aliso Viejo community in celebrating Halloween!
