If you’re looking for family festivities to get into this 4th of July weekend, your search is over! On Monday, July 4th, the Aliso Viejo Community Association will be holding its annual celebration and fireworks show at Grand Park from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Join the surrounding community for an evening of live performances, carnival games, festive activities, and more!
For your convenience, we’ve laid out a quick itinerary for the AVCA’s 4th of July event:
6:00 p.m. – Official Event Start
7:00 p.m. – Live Music Performances
9:00 p.m. – Low-Level Fireworks Show
There are plenty of other activities for you and the kids to partake in between the live music and lit skies, such as community booths from local companies, crafting stations, and face-painting extraordinaires. Here’s a brief list of side activities to try out throughout the event:

- Airbrush Tattoo Artists
- Carnival Games
There are a few other details to keep in mind before heading to Grand Park on the 4th. First, Grand Ave will be closed from City Lights Drive to Vantis from 5:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. for all traffic, including bikes, cars, and pedestrians. Second, you won’t be able to call dibs on a spot until 6:00 a.m. on Monday, July 4th, when the park opens for the day. Finally, be sure not to bring any restricted items – the event only allows blankets and low-level chairs. Here’s a list of accessories that the AVCA discourages:
