This month, F45 Aliso Viejo owner Philip Pane is the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce Member of the Month. We sat down with Philip to talk about F45 and his first year in town.
Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce: Tell us about yourself and your business.
Philip Pane: I started in the fitness world back in 1991; that dates me quite a bit. I spent many years personal training and as a gym manager. I moved away from fitness to pursue other business interests and founded several businesses in the manufacturing and finance sectors, but have now returned to the industry I love – fitness.

AVCC: What is your biggest success in business?
Philip: Owning a business that I love waking up at 4.30am for every day 🙂
AVCC: Tell us a little bit about your business’ experience in Aliso Viejo.
Philip: We only opened up F45 in Aliso Viejo back in January of this year. AV was our first choice in OC, and we haven’t regretted it for a second. From the initial permitting with the city to our opening day, it has been a fantastic experience. It’s not without its ups and downs, but overall the city of Aliso Viejo has welcomed us in.
AVCC: What do you like about being a member of the Chamber?
Philip: Just a great group of people. Everyone is so nice, and welcoming and the smiles and conversations at every event make it even better. I rarely miss a networking breakfast.
AVCC: How has being a member of the Chamber helped your business?
Philip: The chamber has helped us in getting the F45 name out to the community and other local businesses through their networking events, breakfasts, after hours, etc. The chamber members have been supportive as well. I know many of them have referred people to us, and we are very grateful for that. We do our best to return the favor.
